Description: These three buildings are fine examples of the Italianate Villa style. In 1874, Lyman Stevens (a mid-19th century salt manufacturer and Mayor of Syracuse) built them for his three daughters. The homes are rectangular in shape with wide eaves, tall and thin first floor windows and a low pitched hip roof. They form a rare grouping of Victorian era mansions for Syracuse. |
